The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is the world's preeminent movie related organization, comprised of 7,000+ accomplished men and women working in cinema. We recognize and uphold excellence in the motion picture arts and sciences, inspire imagination, and connect the world through the medium of motion pictures. The AMPAS leadership had increasing concerns about declining award's show audience and fragmentation in their marketing messaging and outreach. They hired a branding firm (Scarcliff | Salvador) and associated research consultants from SocioCulutural Research Consultants (SCRC) who put Dedoose to work in research that would help expose brand weaknesses and inform marketing direction.

Benjamin Yeo is an Assistant Professor at the School for New Learning and one of many on the Depaul University taking advantage of Dedoose features in teaching and research. His research interests include innovation- and technology-driven economic growth and social informatics, using both quantitative and qualitative methods. Recent projects include studies on the social and cultural contexts in generating innovation-driven economic growth and the effectiveness of advertising on mobile platforms. Prior to academia, Benjamin Yeo worked in the industry as an Analyst in Regional Economics. He received a PhD in Information Science from the College of Information Sciences and Technology at the Pennsylvania State University.

The center is staffed by volunteer medical students dedicated to serving the diverse Fenway neighborhood—a neighborhood that includes many seniors, gays, low-income residents, and students. Reflecting this mission, the founders named the center Fenway Community Health Center.

The Connected Learning Research Network at UCI is dedicated to understanding the opportunities and risks for learning afforded by today's changing media ecology, as well as building new learning environments that support effective learning and educational equity. Our work focuses on a model of connected learning -- learning that is socially connected, interest-driven, and oriented towards educational opportunity. As an agenda for research, connected learning is about examining learning that cuts across the contexts of home, school, and peer culture, looking at the links and disjunctures between them. As a learning theory, connected learning posits that the most meaningful and resilient forms of learning happen when a learner has a personal interest or passion that they are pursuing in a context of cultural affinity, social support, and shared purpose. As a model for design, connected learning offers a way of connecting the often-fragmented spheres of home, school, and peer-based learning, leveraging the affordances of digital and networked media. Our work cuts across research, design, and practice and includes social scientists, learning theorists, educators, and designers. We are committed to research that is collaborative, action-oriented, and united by educational values of equity, social connection, and full participation.

The Collaborative Center for Health Equity (CCHE), supported by the UW Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (ICTR) and located within the UW School of Medicine and Public Health, connects partners from the state’s rural, urban, and tribal communities with university faculty, staff, and students to advance long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships in teaching, research, and service initiatives to improve health equity in underserved communities of Wisconsin.

The Center on Education Policy and Workforce Competitiveness (EdPolicyWorks)--also known as the Center on Education Policy and Workforce Competitiveness--is a joint collaboration between the Curry School of Education and the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy bringing together researchers from across the University of Virginia and the State to focus on important questions of educational policy and implications for the workforce. The U.Va. Center to Promote Effective Youth Development (Youth-Nex)—The Center to Promote Effective Youth Development—is a transdisciplinary center promoting healthy youth development, educational attainment and learning. Working across the University, Youth-Nex focuses on the assets of young people and works in a wide variety of areas including health management, civic engagement and education. Youth-Nex also aims to prevent youth problems such as violence, physical and mental health issues, substance abuse and school failure. National Research Center on the Gifted & Talented (NRC/GT) is a research center affiliated with the academic program of gifted education at the University of Virginia’s Curry School of Education.

The Constitution of the State of Iowa refers to a State University to be established in Iowa City "without branches at any other place." The legal name of the university is the State University of Iowa, but the Board of Regents approved using the "University of Iowa" for everyday usage in October 1964. The Public Policy Center (PPC) is an interdisciplinary academic research center investigating six policy areas: Environmental, Health, Housing & Land Use, Human Factors & Vehicle Safety, Social Science, and Transportation. The University of Iowa Public Policy Center (PPC) was founded in 1987 by David Forkenbrock, Professor of Urban and Regional Planning, as a freestanding unit in the Office of the Vice President for Research. The PPC's original focus was Transportation Policy research, followed by Health Policy research (1990), and Human Factors and Vehicle Safety research (1996).
